Who are we?

CONDADA is a growing network of medical and dental professionals striving to improve and advance healthcare provision within the UK Congolese community and in the Democratic Republic of Congo. We are a non-political and non-denominational organisation based in the UK.

Mentorship

  • Work in partnership with Clinics & Hospitals in DR Congo to provide them with equipment and training opportunities.
  • Work with Ordre National Des Medecins in Congo to improve healthcare standards.
  • Collaborate with companies, government bodies and charities for the Development of healthcare in DR Congo.

Partnership

  • Sponsor students  completing studies in Medical & Dental school in DR Congo.
  • Support other Community-led initiatives, organisations or charities who have a healthcare and public health focus.
  • Fundraise for pertinent issues faced in the Congolese community.

  • Offer coaching & support to our resident Congolese Doctors wishing to practice in the UK by helping with exams such as IELTS and PLAB and registering with the GMC.
  • Mentor Congolese Medical & Dental students.  To optimise their experience at University.
  • Provide positive role models and support for Congolese college students and postgrads thinking of applying to study Medicine or Dentistry.

Meet the Team

Dr Pidange Tampa-Sahum MBBS MEng MRCGP

Co-Founder & General Secretary
Originally trained as an Engineer in 2005 before graduating in Medicine from Bart’s & The London School of Medicine & Dentistry, University of London. He completed (GP) Family Medicine Speciality Training in 2014, after 3 years working across rural and urban areas of Suffolk. He has worked extensively as a freelance Family Medicine Consultant in Essex, Kent and London in various roles for the past 5 years until he joined his current role as a GP Partner in an Essex practice. He is currently studying for a Master's of Public Health & Health Economics at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine,  and has an interest in Dermatology & Occupational Health.

Dr Tatiana Tuyindi BMBS MSc MRCGP

Co-Founder & Finance Lead
Is  a GP who trained in the East of England deanery. She first completed her studies in Medicine at the Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Exeter and Plymouth. Her Foundation Training involved various rotations across the West Midland's (Shrewsbury and Telford). Dr Tuyindi  currently works as a GP  in the Brentwood and Basildon localities. Her interests are in global health (in particular African health) and skin conditions. She is currently studying for a Masters in Clinical Dermatology with the University of Hertfordshire.

Dr Karim Prince Tshibangu

Regulations & Compliance Officer
Karim Prince Tshibangu is a DR Congo (Zaire)-born British Film Producer. He moved to the United Kingdom having lived in France from a young age. He has a BEng (South Bank), GDL (Westminster), MSc (Warwick Business School) and completed  an Engineering Doctorate (Warwick University).

Ms Francine Mukwaya

Trustee
Francine Mukwaya is originally from Democratic Republic of Congo and is the founder of a grassroots charity called Kitunga ya Mboka. She has a long history of being a human rights activist, event organiser and supporter of Dr Mukwege in the UK (2018 Nobel prize winner). She also works extensively with the community in Congo especially with the internally displaced women and children living in camps of Eastern Congo. She holds a degree in psychology and counselling, Master’s in public health and certification diploma in international development.

Dr Lucrece Wasolua Kibeti MBBS

Marketing & Public relations

Dr Lucrece Wasolua Kibeti is a beauty pageant/model turned doctor, qualified hairstylist and co-founder of Krowned UK. A beauty with purpose change agent, she has a life's mission to embolden women to become confident future  leaders by increasing their self-esteem. Lucrece is an ambassador for Pad4Africa, former lead volunteer for The Armitage Foundation and was named Top 150 Future Leader in 2019. She has featured on Sky News' Hairapy, BBC News and Live London.
