Why join CONDADA?

  • We offer an opportunity to network with like minded  Medical Students, Doctors and Dentists working in the UK of Congolese heritage. All we ask is that you either volunteer your time, effort or attention towards health promotion and research that can help us better understand the fundamental  problems affecting our communities in DR Congo and the UK Congolese diaspora.
  • Become part of the conversation in improving  access to and delivery of high quality healthcare to Congolese people in the UK and DR Congo.
  • To be a member of a unique professional association and receive true peer support from a like minded community of Doctors and Dentists.
  • Become a mentor to young Congolese students considering careers in Medicine or Dentistry. Medical students and Junior Doctors can also receive mentorship or coaching from successful senior colleagues.
  • To benefit from CPD, group discounts, collective bargaining and opportunities to present research or interesting cases to colleagues.
  • Fundraise for solutions to important  healthcare issues in DR Congo and the UK Congolese community.

Who can join?

Membership is open to all Doctors, Dentists and Medical or Dental students of Congolese heritage living in the UK and Northern Ireland, whether currently working or not.  Allied Health professionals are also welcome to join as Associate members or Affiliates.  We also offer free membership to all Allied Health Care Students. Retired Physicians and other stake holders are also welcome to join as affiliates or in an ambasadorial capacity.

How to join?

The annual associate membership fee is currently £100 for 12 months. There is a 50% reduced rate for affiliaate members and unemployed Doctors. Membership is free for Medical and Dental students and free for retired Doctors and Dentists. We are streamlining the membership process with an online form and payment system that should speed up the administration involved.
