With the recent outbreak of Covid 19 and the ongoing epidemics of Measles and Ebola, Congolese healthcare institutions are under strain as never before. Many organisations are highlighting the problems faced by our Doctors and Nurses on the front line. Due to the overwhelming demand and limited resources clinicians are having to use gloves and other personal protective equipment (PPE) repeatedly. The Staff fall ill and are no longer able to work. We aim to provide some relief to colleagues by working with organisations in the UK and DR Congo to aid the purchase and delivery of PPE and any other essential equipment that can be sourced directly to the Hospitals and clinics most in need.
